Services & Specializations

Ten ways I support people through real life.

Every modality I offer is rooted in the same belief: you are worth the time, the care, and the careful work. Below are the areas I am specifically trained to support. Every session is shaped to you, not a category.

Why Clients Choose Me

A practice built on consistency, dignity, and steady, careful work.

01

Provisionally Licensed & Specifically Trained

MHC-LP under the supervision of Ryan Sforza, LMHC-D. Trauma-certified (CCTP), WPATH-aligned gender affirming work, and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. Not adapted, but specifically trained.

02

Evidence-Based, Human-Centered

The methods are research-backed. The delivery is warm, paced, and shaped to who you actually are, rather than to a manualized protocol that ignores your context.

03

Inclusive From the First Hello

LGBTQIA+ clients, couples of every configuration, neurodivergent folks, and anyone whose life sits outside the default. You do not need to translate yourself here.

04

Multiple Formats, Real Access

Virtual and in-person sessions, flexible scheduling, and a sliding scale on the online format keep care reachable when life is already a lot.

05

A Decade With Families

More than ten years working alongside children, parents, and families before clinical training. That practical, lived experience shows up in every session, especially the harder ones.

06

No Judgment, Ever

A space to be honest about struggle without shame. Your story is not a problem to be solved. It is a starting point we work from, together.

My Approach

Empowerment at the center of the therapeutic process.

Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in cultural sensitivity. I work to create a space where empowerment is not the outcome you arrive at; it is the way we work the whole time.

Read More About Me
  1. Safety, First and Always

Building a foundation of trust and emotional safety before processing anything heavy. The work goes deeper when the ground underneath it is steady.

  2. Your Pace, Your Story

Healing happens at the speed that feels right to you. Nothing rushed, nothing forced, nothing on someone else’s timeline.

  3. Practical, Take-Home Tools

Every session leaves you with something usable: grounding techniques, communication frames, language for what you are feeling. Therapy that travels with you.

  4. Whole-Person, Whole-Context

Your identity, family system, culture, neurology, and history are not background noise. They are the picture. Treatment that ignores them is not actually treatment.

  5. Reclaim & Build

The goal is not just to feel less overwhelmed. The goal is to reclaim your narrative and build a life that actually fits the person you are becoming.

Therapy works best when it feels intentional, affirming, and genuinely built around you. My goal is to help you uncover more joy, build healthier relationships, and live a life that feels meaningful to you.

Common Questions

What people often ask before that first call.

You do not have to be in crisis to deserve support. If something has been weighing on you, if a relationship feels stuck, if you keep running into the same pattern, or if you want a thoughtful person in your corner, that is enough reason to start. The free consultation exists to help you figure out if therapy and I are right for what you are working on.
Individual sessions are $80. Couples sessions are $100. The initial 30-minute consultation is free. A sliding scale is available when financial access is a barrier. Please ask during the consultation. I want cost to be a real conversation, not an unspoken obstacle.
Sessions are virtual only, conducted on a HIPAA-compliant secure video platform, available to anyone in New York State. Virtual care removes the commute, expands geographic access, and lets us meet in whatever setting feels safest to you. Practice operates as Vibrant You Counseling.
Affirming. Specifically trained, intersectionally aware, WPATH-aligned for gender affirming care, and informed-consent in approach. Your identity is not on the table for debate or interpretation. You will not be asked to educate me or justify yourself. That is the floor, not the ceiling.
A bad fit is not a failure of therapy. It is a misfit, and they do happen. The relationship between you and your therapist matters more than almost any other variable in the work. The free consultation is exactly for this: a low-stakes way to feel out whether the connection is there, with no obligation to continue if it is not.
Couples of all configurations are welcome: married, dating, engaged, LGBTQIA+ partnerships, polyamorous, and those exploring relationship structures that work for them. The work centers communication, attention, pattern recognition, and connection. The structure of the relationship is not what is on trial.
Yes. Sessions are protected by HIPAA and standard clinical confidentiality. There are a small number of legally mandated exceptions (risk of imminent harm to self or others, suspected abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult). I will walk through these with you in detail at intake.
Use the contact form to send a brief note about what is on your mind. Nothing detailed, just enough for me to know what we would be talking about. I respond personally within one to two business days to schedule your free 30-minute consultation. From there, we decide together.

The Next Step

You do not have to do this alone. And you do not have to do it perfectly.

A free 30-minute consultation, a real conversation, and zero pressure to commit. If we are a fit, we keep going. If not, you walk away with a thoughtful referral and a little more clarity than you had this morning.
