Family Therapy

Heal and grow together as a family unit.

What Family Therapy Looks Like

Family therapy is for the people who share a household, a history, or a future, and want a place to do the harder relational work together. Sessions can include parents and children, adult siblings, blended-family configurations, or chosen-family systems. We work on the patterns that show up at the dinner table or in the group chat, the ones that are hard to see when you are inside them. The frame is structural and intergenerational: what is being passed down, what is being repaired, and what is being decided new. With over a decade of childcare and developmental experience behind the clinical training, the work integrates child-development insight with family-systems clinical practice.

Who This Is For

  • Families with a child or teen in distress, where the system needs the work.
  • Adult sibling systems repairing or rebuilding after a difficult chapter.
  • Blended families finding their footing.
  • Parent and adult-child relationships that need attention.
  • Chosen-family systems facing a shared challenge.

What to Expect

  • Sessions that include the relevant family members for the issue at hand.
  • A frame that holds each person without making any one person the problem.
  • Time spent on patterns, not just events.
  • Practical scripts and frames the family can use in everyday moments.
  • Periodic check-ins to make sure the work is still pointed at the right thing.
