Gender Affirmation Services

Supportive, informed care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals.

What Gender Affirmation Services Looks Like

Gender affirmation services include both ongoing affirming counseling and the documentation work (letters of support) that some people need for medical or surgical care. The clinical posture is informed-consent and WPATH-aligned. The role of the clinician here is to inform and support, not to gatekeep. Whether you are exploring, in early transition, mid-transition, or years after, the work is shaped to where you are and what you actually need. Letters and counseling are billed and scheduled separately so each is clear about what it is. Clients can use one, the other, or both, and the choice is yours.

Who This Is For

  • People exploring their gender identity, with or without a destination in mind.
  • People preparing for or moving through hormone therapy.
  • People preparing for gender affirming surgical care.
  • People who need a WPATH-aligned letter of support.
  • Family members and partners learning how to show up well.

What to Expect

  • Affirming, informed-consent posture from the first conversation.
  • A clear separation of letter writing and ongoing counseling, billed and scheduled separately.
  • WPATH-aligned documentation when letters are part of the work.
  • Permission to come without a destination, label, or timeline.
  • Coordination with your medical team when you give consent for that contact.
